Gareth Peter Rees (born 8 April 1985 in Swansea) is a Welsh cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-pace bowler who plays for Glamorgan.
Rees represented Wales U17s at rugby and was a prominent member of the successful Felinfoel Youth Rugby team. A little-known fact about Rees is his desire to take up a career in media after is playing days, targeting radio as his preferred means of media. His media talents were established in 2008 when commentating for BBC Wales on Glamorgan's Twenty20 match against Durham.
